The DPW maintains Village streets, storm sewers, catch basins, and sanitary sewer mains. Property owners are responsible for maintaining their lateral lines, the portion of the sewer line which extends from the home or business to the main, and the portion of the water line which extends from the home or business to the curb valve.
The DPW performs routine street sweeping and sewer flushing of the mains. The DPW also performs routine street maintenance such as patching, oiling & stoning, milling, paving, surface treating and/or total replacement in keeping our roadways in good repair.
