We are now running the 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten program!  Register at East Rochester Public Library, and start reading.  You can read books to your child, or have them read the books to you.  Record books on a log sheet, and come in for a sticker at the 100, 200, 300 level and so on.  When the child reaches 1,000 books, they will get a special prize and certificate of accomplishment!  This is a wonderful way to prepare your child for school.  Questions about the program can be directed to Matthew Hoople, Children's Librarian.
