East Rochester Website Contest

Thank you for visiting the Town/Village of East Rochester's new website!! We are running a scavenger hunt contest with prizes to encourage visitors to investigate the site starting June 5!! Watch the most recent video and search on the site for the answer to the most recent question. Answer questions EACH WEEK or with EACH new Video - but please only enter once per question.

 Contest Rules:

* Throughout the month of June, starting June 5, we will add one video to this page and to the ER Communicates Facebook page. The video provides your first clue on where to find the answer to the week's Contest Question. Go to the East Rochester Website Contest page (this page) to find the question. When you know the answer(s), fill out the contest form below, add your answer(s), and wait to find out who that week's winner is.

* A new video and question will be posted each week or so, and a new Contest Form must be filled out each time with that week's answer(s) to qualify for a prize.

According to a number of area sportscasters, it wasn’t supposed to happen that way—the East Rochester Bombers beating the Lyons Lions, 58-57.   While both basketball teams entered the game undefeated, Lyons was known as a powerhouse.  By looking at the history of the two teams, however, perhaps March 24, 1962, was destined to be different.  And what made the outcome of the contest all the more special was that it happened before a crowd estimated to be more than 10,000.

The Town/Village of East Rochester has additional Covid-19 test-kits for resident pickup. If you would like a test-kit please call (585) 586-3553 or stop by the Clerk's Office located on the 2nd floor of the Eyer Building. The office is open from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm Monday through Friday.
