Membership and Benefits

Members must be 55 years of age or older or the spouse of someone who is 55 or older. Donation for membership is $5 per calendar year.

THE JEAN DANIEL SENIOR CENTER

The Senior Citizens Center is open Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. It is located in the Jean Daniel Community Center at 317 Main Street. Business Meetings are held at 12:00 noon on the first Thursday of every month and program meetings are held at 12:00 noon on the third Thursday of every month.

The Senior Citizens Center is a meeting place for fun and fellowship and serves as a community resource for information and guidance on meeting the needs of our older residents. The Center provides a group setting for work, exercise and educational programs, as well as a link with other senior citizens in Monroe County and agencies and businesses serving seniors.

The ER Fire Department is attempting to update over 200 business PRE-PLANS that are intended to be used in the event of an emergency. Information to be collected includes the Business Contact(s), a Site Plan, a reference to the locations of utilities and any exposure to risks.

You can help by completing an online form by clicking on ER Pre-Pan Form. Your response will benefit you in the event of a fire emergency and may save the lives of the firefighters responding to your business.
