The East Rochester Christmas Festival will be held at several locations in and around the Town/Village of East Rochester on Saturday, Dec.
13, 2014 from 9 am until 5 pm. Venues include the school campus on Woodbine Avenue, Quinzi Lodge at Eyer Park, the new Town/Village Office in the Eyer Building, and the Piano Works Mall ( ER Community Resource Center can drive). The Festival is sponsored by the ER Chamber of Commerce, with assistance from the Town/Village of ER, the ER Association of Churches, the ER Alumni Foundation, the ER Rotary, and the ER School District. For the past three years, it has provided visitors with activities such as music and caroling, children's stories, food and item vendors, games and crafts for all ages, visits with Santa and Mrs. Claus and sales and giveaways by local merchants. This year, the Advent Craft Sale and PTA "Breakfast with Santa" will be held in conjunction with, and on the same day as, the Christmas Festival.
Horse-drawn carriage rides, which begin and end at the new Town/Village Offices in the Eyer Building, will be available at no charge from noon to 4 PM. Free bus rides between venues will be provided from 10 AM to 5:15 PM. Arrangements for riders having special needs will be available and will be announced in November.
