National Take Back Day
The D.E.A. (Drug Enforcement Agency) is holding a special date for an extra pharmaceutical drop off. The date is Saturday, April 27, 2013 from 10am - 2pm at the Police Department, 254 W. Ivy St., E. Rochester, NY. All prescription, non-prescription drugs and needles will be accepted on Saturday, April 27 from 10am - 2pm.
The East Rochester Police Department operates as the Village’s Public Safety Department and serves the greater community of East Rochester 24 hours a day, 365 days each year providing around the clock protection for the citizens and property of the Village.
The ERPD consists of a Chief of Police, Lieutenant, 2 Sergeants, 4 Full-Time Officers, 6 Part-Time Officers, and a Full-Time and Part-Time Clerk.
The ERPD also provides a Traffic Officer assigned to the East Rochester School District, as well as full and part-time Crossing Guards.
The East Rochester Police Department is a New York State Accredited Police Agency.
Administrative offices for the ERPD are open Monday thru Friday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. Please call us at (585) 586-4399 with your general questions or for information pertaining to issues of a non-emergency nature, for copies of reports, or to speak with the Chief of Police.
