The Building Department is open Monday thru Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm and performs the following functions:
- Building Inspector - issues permits for new construction, fences, signs, additions, etc. ensuring that all Village buildings meet the requirements of the New York State Fire Prevention and Building Code.
- Fire Marshal - performs fire safety inspections.
- Code Enforcement Officer - responsible for the enforcement of all codes within the Village on a proactive basis and in response to complaints.
- Planning & Zoning - attends and participates in all meetings handling matters related to planning, zoning and related matters.
