Free Rabies Clinic
The East Rochester Free Rabies Clinic will be held at the Jean Daniels Senior Center on Monday, May 13th from 5 to 7pm. For more information call 381-4360.
Office Hours: Monday thru Friday, 8:30
am to 4:30 p m
After Hours: Call 9-1-1
~ on call 24/7 for emergencies including lost or loose pets, sick or
injured animals, and animal bites.
Wildlife: Food and shelter are the two
primary necessities for all wildlife. To prevent unwanted visitors,
please keep garage doors closed, your homes in good repair, and all
refuse containers well secured.
Dog Licenses: All dogs must be licensed
at the age of 4 months. You will need proof of a current rabies
certificate. To obtain a license stop down to Village Hall, 120
West Commercial Street, East Rochester, New York 14445, (585) 586-3553,
Monday thru Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm
As of 8-1-2008, the cost of Replacement Tags increased to $3.00.
A rabies vaccine must not expire prior to the start of the next
licensing year. Meaning a license sent out at the end of March, due to
expire April 30th, must have a rabies vaccine that is valid until at
least May 1st.
