New cross walk was installed on W. Ivy Street
prior to the start of the 2019 school year

Before the start of the 2019/20 school year, a new cross walk was installed on W. Ivy Street near the Ambulance base. This cross walk will be operational 24/7 and flashing only during the hours consistent with arrival to and departure from school. To use at any other time a pedestrian can press a button to operate the flashing signal. This crosswalk is intended to provide safe travel to all pedestrians coming from school or after school activities such as sporting events in the evening.
